Cholesterol Ester Transfer Protein (CETP), also known as the plasma lipid transfer protein, is a plasma protein that promotes the exchange of cholesterol esters and triglycerides between high density proteins (HDL) and apolipoprotein B100- containing lipoprotein particles.
